When we say, we are not stuck in the past just for the sake of oh-that’s the norms,  it’s because we’ve got a story behind it.

I lost my Dad in 1973, prior to that, my mother earned passive income from making and selling-soap, shower Gel, body lotion/cream, hair de’tangler/ moisturiser and even toothpaste for the family, neighbours and closeby community-a skill handed down to her by her mother (my maternal Nan).

After the passing of my Dad and the attendant responsibilities of having to raise many children, she knew she had to be prepared to do more and earn more money, she therefore went into the business of producing various beauty products commercially.

My mother would tell you a dozen and one ways how Aloe Vera can be processed for various beauty use.

MY MOTHER’S HOME MADE WILL KICK THE STORE-BOUGHT ONE’S BUTT! because, it’s not only better but it’s also a lot cheaper and healthier-for example in those early days, with only three ingredients, my mother will make recipe that’ll make neighbours to no longer seeing their daughters struggling and bolting down the hallway each time their daughters see them with brush as the children were no longer petrified because they now have smooth and knot free as against tangled hair.

However as she(my mother)became influential within the society vis-à-vis seeing her other business activities turned a corner, the beauty business commercially, went into the back burner and she once again, was only producing them for her family, loved ones and friends within the neighbourhood.

We now have a competent team who specialise in biochemistry and each one of them already bagged MBA qualifications and more.

We are here, to bring alive the knowledge/ recipes of my mother and grandmother.
